The town of Grand Lake is a lovely small town located on the eastern
shore of Grand Lake. Grand Lake, the town, is the western entrance
to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The town has kept its small town and rustic feeling, still
maintaining their wooden sidewalks and old-time store fronts.
The lake is large, clear, beautiful and is the deepest natural lake
in Colorado. All types of boats are allowed on the lake. Pontoon
boats can be rented at the marina for fishing or a lazy day on the
lake. There is a small park on the shore for picnics or just
enjoying the scenery.
Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby are within a few minutes drive
from the town of Grand Lake. Boating is also allowed on these lakes.
